OFSTED Report

What did Ofsted say about the school when they visited?

On Tuesday 9th and Wednesday 10th December 2025, we were inspected by OFSTED. As this was only the 2nd week of the new inspection framework, all reports were withheld until there were a number of them to release at the same time.

As such, we are very pleased to share with you our most recent OFSTED report – which confirms exactly what we already knew about what an amazing school we are.

As the process has changed significantly, there is a lot of information in the report compared to previous reports, but I am incredibly proud to share this summary:

East Peckham Primary has been inspected as being at the STRONG and EXPECTED Standard in all areas on the OFSTED report card.

The school is doing everything that it should be doing, at a high standard, to make sure your children are receiving everything they need and deserve. There are also significant areas of strength in Behaviour, Attendance and Inclusion which marks out excellent, consistent work that is making a real difference for children and learners. Safeguarding is also completely met.

We are absolutely delighted with our report, and will be celebrating sections of it over the coming weeks in our newsletters - but for now please do enjoy reading it in its entirety. Although I do want to draw your attention to the final paragraph in the section that reports on what it means to be a pupil at our school:

Pupils enjoy their learning. Classrooms are happy, focused and enterprising. Pupils show enthusiasm and pride in their work. They flourish with confidence and resilience. Children settle happily into early years where the school's curriculum begins well. Children swiftly adapt to routines and expectations, nurturing a true sense of belonging for all. As pupils move through to Year 6, they learn, grow and blossom in this happy, ambitious and successful school.
