At East Peckham Primary School we follow the Maths No Problem approach in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. We aim for our children to master mathematical concepts so they are ready for Maths in the next phase of their education and in the real world.

We follow Maths No Problem in years 1-6. This is currently the only DfE recommended text book for Maths.
You will see in the documents below the lesson break down and when different topics are due to be taught. There will be times when a teacher needs to spend longer or short on a topic than stated below due to the needs or strengths of the children.
EYFS Maths is taken from the EYFS Handbook and Development Matters documents. All of which are available online.

This American website has plenty of apps and online interactive software that can be used to help children complete calculations.
Children in KS1 and KS2 can use the ‘Number Pieces’ app to complete written calculations.
Children in KS1 and year 3 can use the ‘Number Line’ app to add and subtract
Children in KS1 and EYFS can use the ‘Number Frames’ apps to investigate number bonds to 10 and 20.
Children who come to Mathletics club, those in year 6 and children are entitled to Pupil Premium Funding have log in details for Mathletics. If you would like to know your child’s Mathletics log in, please speak to your class teacher. If you want to have more information about Pupil Premium Funding, please speak to the office.

There are more maths games for many different areas of maths on the Top Marks website. The activities range from 3 to 14 years.

There are a range of games on this website that cover a multitude of maths topics. There are also links to app downloads if you want easier access to the games.
